Versatile Luxury Sep 17, 2009
I purchased my first Shalin Craft prayer shawl a few years ago as a gift for friend and had it gift-wrapped and shipped directly to her. The subsequent thank-you note was lavish with its praise of not only the shawl but of its "gorgeously unique" gift-wrap. Intrigued, I bought one for myself and requested gift-wrap. My new purchase arrived swiftly, and I was delighted to see that it too was beautifully packaged in sumptuous paper and ties. The shawl itself was/is absolutely lovely. The fine, light wool is meticulously woven, the dyes are rich and the fringes are cleverly tied. I wore it immediately, have done so regularly ever since and have purchased perhaps a dozen more for my own use and for other gifts. All of my gift recipients have praised these shawls and enjoyed wearing them.

And as an added note, I also use these shawls as table-toppers for dinner parties. Spread over a traditional table cloth, the fanciful paisleys make a remarkable backdrop for china and crystal. Although not machine washable, I find that these shawls dry-clean perfectly. The dyes remain fast and my shawls remain fresh and new-looking through repeated cleanings.

I would recommend these shawls without reservation. The seller is exquisitely polite and warm and sends hand-written greetings and thanks with purchase. Delivery is prompt.
